Wild About Wildlife Golfing Challenge

It’s time to emerge from winter hibernation, haul out your golf clubs, and set your wild side free as we celebrate the 2006 Honorary Rangers, Pretoria Region ’s annual Golf Challenge.

This year’s Wild About Wildlife challenge will be held at the Silver Lakes Golf Club on Thursday, 5th October 2006. We invite you to celebrate and support wildlife conservation with us by entering a 4-ball at R2 000.00 or sponsoring a hole with an entered 4-ball at R6 000.00. Alternatively you can sponsor a hole for R2 000.00 and it entitles you to erect banners and to distribute marking material.

The Honorary Rangers are a group of volunteers who provide support and funds for various special projects run by South African National Parks. Our three main initiatives are Game Capture and Translocation, Counter-Poaching Support and the Eradication of Invasive Alien Plants and other biota from our National Parks. We are also involved in educating children about conservation and the importance of caring for our precious heritage.

A portion of the proceeds of this golf challenge will be used to take a group of children on an informative tour of the Kruger National Park, where they will experience various aspects of nature conservation firsthand. They will be accompanied by qualified Game Rangers, in what we hope will be an adventure that helps to develop an early and enduring love for our wild place.

So take advantage of this memorable opportunity to let your hair down, fluff out your tail feathers, and have a great time – all in support of wildlife!

Please fax or email the ENTRY FORM to indicate whether you will be entering a 4-ball or taking advantage of the various sponsorship opportunities available.
